FAQ & Other Information

How do I place an order?
Simply email me a list of the items you would like. Please include your state or postal code so that I may calculate the shipping cost. I charge actual shipping costs, usually using Canada Post. I will send you an email with the total cost. Then we can determine the payment method.

What does "On Hold" mean?
Items that have "On Hold" (where the price would normally appear) have been set aside while I am in negotiations with a buyer about shipping, and waiting for payment. If the transaction falls through, the item will go back up for sale with the price showing again. (Buyers NOTE: If you do not respond to emails, items will go back up for sale after 5 days.) If you like you can send your request and you will be put on a waiting list, just in case.
Do you take Credit Cards?
Yes, if necessary I could set my Paypal account to accept credit cards. However, I really try and avoid it as it costs me extra. Cash-funded Paypal payments are preferred. For other payment options please see below.
Do you have hand knitting items?
Though I specialize in machine knitting items, some hand knitting items are available. Some patterns or booklets and can be found on the Books page or see the Hand Knitting Section at the bottom of the menu at left.

Shipping

Shipping charges are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in the listed price of an item. Please email me your list of items, your location and preferred shipping method (i.e. company, speed, insurance.). I will send you an estimate of shipping charges. I usually use Canada Post, without insurance. I am not responsible for items lost by the postal service. If you would like insurance, or any other special shipping instructions (courier) let me know.
For foreign orders you are responsible for any duties/customs fees.

Payment options

Please contact me before sending any payment so we can decide on a shipping method and costs. Also, so that I can double check that the items are still available.
